Liquid Vibratory Burnishing Compound

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

DIPSOL 88-RM is a low foaming liquid burnishing compound formulated for vibratory finishing operations. DIPSOL 88-RM has demonstrated excellent results on aluminum, brass, steel, stainless steel, and zinc diecastings. DIPSOL 88-RM is used at concentrations of 0.5–2.0% by volume (0.64–1.5 fl oz/gal). Best results are obtained when DIPSOL 88-RM is used for flow through operations. With this technique, the dilute solution of DIPSOL CMC TJ-15 is flowed through the machine at a flow rate of 1–3 gallons per hour per cubic foot of machine volume.

CAUTION

DIPSOL 88-RM is a mildly acidic liquid and may cause irritation. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. In the event of contact, flush thoroughly with water. For eyes, get medical attention.

WASTE DISPOSAL

DIPSOL 88-RM contains no chromates, cyanides, fluorides, silicates, or phenolic compounds. All surface active agents are biodegradable.
